Blog…vember?

About halfway through October, you may have wondered why on earth Blogtober petered out. Well, there were a few reasons.

First, I had run out of already-written blogs, and suddenly needed to start writing in earnest. And the blogs I had planned were the slightly tedious but important recording of events-type blogs.

Second, I was working through some personal issues.

Third, I decided to transfer both my domain name and my physical blog over to new providers, in order to update the aesthetic and accessibility of my blog. As it turns out, Wordpress webpages don’t want to open in Rwanda for some reason, and it was also just a monstrous thing to load every day and try to upload and photo and text to. But the domain transfer took a few days, and I wasn’t sure how to announce it, and I had writing to do anyway so…I fell behind.

But now, ladies and gentlemen, please behold: Karibu Karine, new and improved, and promising to give you a blog for each day that I missed in October. Maybe not every day, and maybe a little out of order, but we’ll get there. I’m not going to let myself let this go.

PS, for those who email-subscribed to my old blog, I thank you. Medium works a little differently, so here are your options for how to stay informed about when I post a new update:

  1. Sign up for Medium and follow my blog by going to karynpm.com and clicking the liiiittle Follow button under the main photo (see the featured image on this post for the screenshot of where all that is). You can also follow me as an author, which you’re welcome to do in anticipation of supporting by budding career as a hot shot blogger ;) Medium can then send you email notifications when any blog or author you’re following posts a new update.
  2. Check in on Facebook and Twitter, to which Medium is posting notifications every time I publish a new blog.
  3. If RSS is your thing, here’s the feed.

(I’ll also make an effort to email all the people who were recieving email notifications so that no one gets left out.)
